Calcium Carbonate: Used widely in PVC formulations, calcium carbonate exists in ground and precipitated forms. It reduces material costs and enhances stiffness but can affect processing and mechanical properties depending on purity and particle size. Surface treatment with additives like stearic acid can mitigate its drawbacks.
